SPF Record

This page is now depreciated. Please visit System Email Authentication for the latest information.

Most mail clients provide their customers protection by checking incoming e-mails against the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) of the web domain that the e-mail claims to come from.

In order to ensure that customers receive e-mails sent by the Spektrix system, such as order confirmations, print at home tickets or gift vouchers, the SPF records for relevant web domain(s) should be updated to include Spektrix. Without an up-to-date SPF record, important emails are more likely to either be marked as spam or not be received by the intended recipient at all.

Adding Spektrix to the SPF Record

It is easy to avoid system e-mails getting lost by amending or adding a record to include the following rule:

include:system.spektrix.com

This will allow the domain to validate any e-mails being sent by Spektrix on behalf of a venue.
